Grovelands Medical Centre in Reading is looking for an experienced Practice Nurse to join our friendly busy team, 37.5 hours full time but some flexibility.
We have a patient population of approx. 14,000 and you will be supported by GPs, paramedics, pharmacists, social prescriber, health and wellbeing coach, first contact physiotherapist and our nursing team including HCAs.
We are an Emis Web Practice.
Ideally we would like someone with experience of:
- Chronic Disease Management, especially Diabetes
- Cervical Smear Screening
- Family Planning
- Immunisations (Routine, Childhood and Travel)
- Treatment Room duties
Salary is negotiable and dependent on experience.

Our high-performing team includes nursing staff, paramedics, pharmacists,pharmacy technicians, social prescriber, health & wellbeing coach and first contact physiotherapist. You will also be supported by our excellent reception and admin team.
A range of specialist interests including minor surgery, joint injections and LARC fitting. Specialist interests are welcomed and encouraged as we are motivated towards continuous improvement. Planning to become a training practice in the near future. We encourage daily morning coffee breaks to allow for catch ups.
Ideally positioned for easy access from London/Oxford with excellent local schools and amenities. Consistently high QOF achieving surgery. Salary negotiable and dependent on previous experience.

Grovelands Medical Centre is looking for a receptionist to join our busy medical practice of approximately 14,000 patients. We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and outgoing person to join our fast paced reception team.
You will provide an efficient and friendly service on the telephone and face to face so a welcoming manner is needed for greeting and directing patients and visitors. You will be expected to undertake a variety of administrative duties to ensure the smooth running of the surgery as well as on the front desk, appointments and enquiry telephones.
We are offering full time (37.5 hours) over a variety of shifts from Monday-Friday between the hours of 7.30am to 7.00pm with a 8.15pm finish on Wednesday evenings. Benefits include NHS Pension Scheme. Salary is dependent on experience.
